Making a Donation

There are a number of ways that donations may be made to SANDS (Qld) Inc.

Parents, family members and friends may choose to make a donation to SANDS in memory of their baby. Donations are acknowledged in the monthly SANDS newsletter if the donor rerquests.

If you would prefer people attending your baby’s funeral or memorial service to donate to SANDS in lieu of flowers you can request your funeral director or celebrant to organise the details. Acknowledgements are sent to parents and a thank you letter is sent to the person making the donation.

Where will the donation go? Donations have been used to expand the SANDS library, to assist with producing the film “The Story of Daniel” and to fund workshops across Queensland.
SANDS is a not-for-profit organisation and a registered charity. Donations over $2 are tax deductible and receipted.
